SEE WHAT’S HAPPENING BETWEEN HEALTHCARE VISITS
Your health doesn’t stop when the doctor’s appointment ends.
The WatsonGuard™ Trend Report helps transform participant-provided health and wellness information collected across days, weeks, and longer periods into an organized picture of your health journey.
Instead of relying only on isolated readings or trying to remember what happened between appointments, the report helps organize changes, patterns, progress, and important observations over time — giving you, your Wellness Coach, and your healthcare provider better information for more meaningful conversations.
Predict. Prevent. Protect.™
WHAT HAPPENS BETWEEN DOCTOR VISITS MATTERS.™
A healthcare appointment captures a moment in time. Your health continues every hour, every day, between those appointments.
Blood pressure can change. Weight can change. Activity, hydration, nutrition, sleep, stress, symptoms, medications, and daily habits can change. Yet weeks or months later, it can be difficult to remember exactly what happened, when it happened, or what may have changed along the way.
WatsonGuard™ helps preserve that between-visit story by organizing the health and wellness information you choose to provide over time.
The goal is not simply to collect numbers. The goal is to help turn daily information into a clearer, organized health story that you, your Wellness Coach, and your healthcare provider can review together.
YOUR HEALTH IS MORE THAN ONE NUMBER
A WatsonGuard™ Trend Report can bring together multiple areas of participant-provided health and wellness information, helping create a more complete picture of what has been happening over time.
Information may include:
- Blood pressure and pulse
- Weight and weight changes
- Physical activity and walking
- Hydration
- Nutrition and eating patterns
- Sleep
- Stress and general well-being
- Symptoms and wellness concerns
- Medications, vitamins, and supplements reported by the participant
- Mobility, pain, balance, or other reported changes
- Wellness goals and progress
- Relevant observations recorded between healthcare visits
Not every participant tracks the same information. WatsonGuard™ helps organize the information relevant to the individual’s wellness journey so patterns and changes can be viewed in context rather than as isolated events.
FROM DAILY CHECK-INS TO A LONGITUDINAL HEALTH STORY
Individual readings can be useful, but their value increases when they are viewed over time. WatsonGuard™ helps organize participant-provided information across days, weeks, and longer periods so changes, recurring patterns, progress, and notable variations can be easier to recognize.
For example, one blood pressure reading shows what happened at one moment. A series of readings may help show whether values are generally stable, increasing, decreasing, or changing under certain circumstances. The same principle can apply to weight, activity, hydration, sleep, symptoms, stress, and other information being followed.
WatsonGuard™ does not determine the medical meaning of a trend. It helps organize and present the information so the participant, Wellness Coach, and healthcare provider can review the documented pattern more clearly.
THE PARTICIPANT, WELLNESS COACH & HEALTHCARE PROVIDER CONNECTION
The WatsonGuard™ Trend Report is designed to strengthen communication across the participant’s wellness journey. Each part of the process has a distinct role.
The Participant
Provides the health and wellness information being tracked between healthcare visits and stays engaged with daily habits, symptoms, concerns, goals, and changes.
The Wellness Coach
Reviews the participant-provided information, supports accountability and wellness education, helps recognize patterns that may deserve discussion, and helps prepare meaningful questions for upcoming healthcare visits.
The Healthcare Provider
Reviews the Trend Report within the context of the participant’s medical history, medications, laboratory results, examination, diagnoses, and overall clinical picture. The healthcare provider determines the medical significance of the information and whether any clinical changes are appropriate.
WatsonGuard™ helps connect the information between these three roles by organizing the participant’s between-visit health story into a clearer, reviewable record.
TAKE YOUR TREND REPORT TO YOUR HEALTHCARE VISIT
The WatsonGuard™ Trend Report is designed to go with you. Instead of trying to remember weeks or months of readings, symptoms, habits, and changes, you can bring an organized record of the information you have been following between healthcare visits.
Your physician or other healthcare provider can review the documented information alongside your medical history, medications, laboratory results, examination, diagnoses, and other clinical information. This gives the provider an opportunity to evaluate whether the information is consistent with your overall health picture, identify anything that may need clarification or closer attention, and determine whether changes to your medical care or monitoring are appropriate.
The healthcare provider remains the clinical authority. WatsonGuard™ helps bring the between-visit information into the room so your provider has a clearer record to evaluate, confirm, question, or use as part of your ongoing care.
AFTER THE VISIT, THE MONITORING CONTINUES
The healthcare appointment is not the end of the process. It can become the starting point for the next period of between-visit monitoring.
After reviewing your Trend Report and overall clinical information, your healthcare provider may confirm that current efforts should continue, recommend that certain information be followed more closely, request additional evaluation, or make changes to your medical care. When you choose to share those instructions with your Wellness Coach, they can help you stay organized, reinforce appropriate wellness habits, and support accountability as you follow the provider’s direction. WatsonGuard™ can then help organize the information you continue providing over time.
Healthcare Provider Guidance → Wellness Coach Support → Continued WatsonGuard™ Monitoring → Updated Trend Information → Better-Prepared Next Visit
WHAT YOU MAY SEE IN YOUR WATSONGUARD™ TREND REPORT
Each WatsonGuard™ Trend Report is built around the information relevant to the participant. The exact content may vary, but the goal is to present the participant’s recorded information in a clear, organized format that is easier to review over time.
A Trend Report may include:
- Reporting period and date range
- Blood pressure and pulse trends
- Weight and weight-change history
- Physical activity and walking information
- Hydration patterns
- Sleep and stress observations
- Nutrition-related information reported by the participant
- Symptoms, pain, mobility, balance, or wellness concerns
- Participant-reported medications, vitamins, and supplements
- Progress toward wellness goals
- Charts and visual trend summaries where appropriate
- Notable changes or recurring observations
- Questions or concerns to consider discussing with a healthcare provider
- Wellness Coach observations and follow-up areas where appropriate
The purpose is not to overwhelm the participant or healthcare provider with data. The purpose is to organize the most relevant information so the health story can be reviewed more clearly, efficiently, and meaningfully.
MORE THAN A DAILY LOG
A daily log records individual entries. A WatsonGuard™ Trend Report goes further by bringing those entries together over time so the participant’s health and wellness story can be viewed as a connected pattern rather than a series of isolated moments.
A Daily Log may show:
What happened today.
A WatsonGuard™ Trend Report will show:
What has been happening across days and weeks, what has changed, what has remained consistent, and what information may deserve discussion with your Wellness Coach or healthcare provider.
The value of the Trend Report is not simply having more information — it is having the information organized in a way that helps make the journey easier to understand, discuss, and evaluate.
WHEN INFORMATION IS DOCUMENTED, THE CONVERSATION CAN CHANGE
There is an important difference between telling your healthcare provider, “I think something has changed,” and being able to show organized information documenting what you have been experiencing or recording over time.
When a healthcare provider reviews your WatsonGuard™ Trend Report, the documented information may help support a more focused conversation. Your provider can compare the reported trends with your medical history, medications, laboratory results, examination, and overall health. From there, the provider can determine whether the information supports continuing the current approach, requires additional monitoring, warrants further evaluation, or indicates that changes to your medical care should be considered.
WatsonGuard™ does not make those clinical decisions. It helps make sure the participant’s between-visit health story is organized and available when those decisions are being considered.
HOW TO USE YOUR WATSONGUARD™ TREND REPORT
BEFORE YOUR HEALTHCARE VISIT
Review the report with your Wellness Coach. Look at the information you have recorded, identify meaningful changes or concerns, and prepare questions you want to discuss with your healthcare provider.
DURING YOUR HEALTHCARE VISIT
Bring or share your Trend Report with your healthcare provider. Explain that it contains participant-provided information documented between visits and ask your provider to review any trends, changes, or concerns that may be relevant to your care.
AFTER YOUR HEALTHCARE VISIT
Keep a record of the guidance your healthcare provider gives you. When you choose to share that guidance with your Wellness Coach, it can help shape your wellness support, accountability, and what information you continue tracking between visits.
Record → Review → Prepare → Discuss With Your Healthcare Provider → Follow Provider Guidance → Continue Monitoring
This gives participants something especially useful: not merely a report, but an understandable process for putting that report to work.
ACCURACY, CONTEXT & HEALTHCARE PROVIDER REVIEW
A WatsonGuard™ Trend Report is only as useful as the information available to it. Participants are encouraged to provide information as accurately and consistently as possible and to identify corrections or changes when something has been entered incorrectly.
The Trend Report organizes participant-provided information and observations; it does not independently establish that every entry is medically accurate or clinically significant. When the report is shared during a healthcare visit, the physician or other healthcare provider can compare the documented information with the medical record, medications, laboratory findings, examination, and other clinical information. The provider can clarify discrepancies, evaluate the significance of reported trends, and determine whether anything should change in the participant’s medical care or ongoing monitoring.
WatsonGuard™ organizes the between-visit record. The Wellness Coach supports understanding, preparation, and accountability. The healthcare provider provides clinical evaluation and determines medical care.
YOUR HEALTH STORY CONTINUES BETWEEN APPOINTMENTS
A healthcare visit may last only a short period of time, but the choices, measurements, symptoms, activities, challenges, and progress that affect your health continue long after the appointment ends. WatsonGuard™ is designed to help preserve that important period between visits.
With consistent participation, each monitoring period can contribute to the next. Information from one period can be compared with information from another, healthcare-provider guidance can be incorporated into what the participant continues to follow, and subsequent Trend Reports can help show what occurred after the previous healthcare visit. Over time, this creates greater continuity rather than repeatedly starting the conversation from memory.
Your last healthcare visit should not be where your health story ends — and your next visit should not have to begin without the story of what happened in between.
This brings us directly back to the foundational WatsonGuard™ principle: What Happens Between Doctor Visits Matters.™
THE WATSONGUARD™ DIFFERENCE
The WatsonGuard™ Trend Report is not simply a printout of numbers. It is part of a structured wellness-monitoring process designed to help participants remain engaged with their health between healthcare visits and arrive at future appointments with a more organized record of what has occurred.
It brings together participant awareness, consistent information gathering, Wellness Coach support, longitudinal trend organization, healthcare-visit preparation, provider review, and continued between-visit monitoring. Each component has a different purpose, but together they help create greater continuity across the participant’s wellness journey.
PARTICIPANT INFORMATION → WATSONGUARD™ ORGANIZATION → WELLNESS COACH SUPPORT → HEALTHCARE PROVIDER REVIEW → CONTINUED MONITORING
One health journey. A clearer story between visits.
BETTER PREPARED. BETTER INFORMED. MORE ENGAGED.
The WatsonGuard™ Trend Report helps you carry the story of what happened between healthcare visits into your next healthcare conversation. With organized information, Wellness Coach support, and healthcare-provider review, you can become a more informed and engaged participant in your own health journey.
Important Note: WatsonGuard™ and Joy 4 Healthy Living™ provide wellness monitoring, organization, education, preparation, and support. The WatsonGuard™ Trend Report does not diagnose medical conditions, provide medical treatment, prescribe medications, or replace your physician or other licensed healthcare professional. Participant-provided information and identified trends should be reviewed with an appropriate healthcare provider when medical evaluation or clinical interpretation is needed.
